Three Cultures, Three Folding Techniques
Dumplings appear in cuisines around the world, but the technique behind them can vary dramatically.
Join us in the Monarch Culinary Studio for a chef-led demonstration exploring three distinct dumpling traditions and the techniques that define them.
Throughout the evening, we’ll compare how wrappers, fillings, folding methods and cooking techniques change from one culture to another—and how those differences affect flavour, texture and presentation.
From crisp-bottomed Japanese gyoza to delicate Chinese wontons and rich Polish pierogi, this class offers a practical look at one of the world’s most universal forms of comfort food.
