The Experience

This two-day workshop is structured to provide a complete understanding of sourdough fermentation and artisan bread production.

Day One focuses on building and understanding your starter, developing levain, and mixing dough for a slow fermentation. Guests will explore the science behind fermentation, hydration, and gluten development while preparing their dough for the following day’s bake.

Day Two centers on shaping, scoring, and baking. Participants will learn techniques for achieving proper oven spring, crust development, and crumb structure while completing their own artisan loaf.

With limited seating, this small-group format allows for detailed instruction, personalized feedback, and a focused learning environment.
