Mastering Texture, Timing & Mantecatura

Risotto is one of those dishes that feels simple—until you try to get the texture just right.

Join us in the Monarch Culinary Studio for a hands-on Vegetarian workshop focused on the technique behind properly cooked risotto. Rather than following a single recipe, you’ll learn the method professional chefs use to build flavour, manage stock, control texture and finish risotto with confidence.

Throughout the workshop, each guest will work through the key stages of risotto cookery, from preparing the soffritto and toasting the rice to controlling hydration, testing doneness and finishing with the final mantecatura.

The goal is to help you understand what properly cooked risotto should look, taste and feel like—so you can recreate it at home with any number of seasonal ingredients.

1 Glass of wine Included!
