 Monarch Culinary workshops and cooking classes are hands-on experiences that take place in a professional kitchen environment. Participation may involve the use of sharp tools, hot surfaces, open flames, and heated liquids.

By registering for and attending a workshop, participants acknowledge and accept full personal responsibility for conducting themselves in a safe, attentive, and professional manner while in the studio. While our chefs provide instruction, guidance, and oversight throughout the experience, participants understand that Monarch Culinary cannot be held responsible for personal injury resulting from individual actions or failure to follow instructions.

All participants will be required to review and acknowledge a participation waiver prior to the start of their class.

The Monarch Culinary Studio may be reserved for private social and corporate events, subject to availability and advance approval. All bookings are customized and designed in collaboration with our culinary team to ensure the space, format, and service align with the intended experience.

Food and beverage service is provided exclusively by Monarch Culinary. As a fully licensed establishment, all alcohol service is managed by our Smart Serve® certified staff. Outside food or beverage is not permitted unless expressly approved in advance.

Guest counts, event duration, and minimum spend requirements vary by event type and will be confirmed during the booking process. All private studio events must align with applicable municipal and provincial requirements and are subject to final confirmation by Monarch Culinary.

 Monarch Culinary is a fully licensed establishment and serves alcohol in accordance with applicable Ontario provincial regulations. All alcohol service is provided exclusively by Monarch Culinary staff who are Smart Serve® certified.

Alcohol will only be served to guests of legal drinking age, and valid government-issued photo identification may be requested at any time. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue alcohol service to any guest, at our sole discretion, in the interest of guest safety and responsible service.

Select events, classes, and private bookings may include curated beverage offerings or guided wine pairings designed to complement the culinary experience. Availability and scope of beverage service may vary by event and will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.

Outside alcohol is not permitted unless expressly approved in advance and aligned with applicable AGCO and municipal requirements.

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and thoughtfully managed dining environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care.

All cooking classes and ticketed events must be paid in full at the time of registration. Registrations are non-refundable. We recommend treating class tickets similarly to performance or event tickets—if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your spot to a guest of your choosing.

We are located at 71 King St in the Renaissance By Tricar directly across the street from Canada Life Place. There are many public parking options, including indoor parking within the Tricar building itself and the Covent Garden Market. 

Street parking is available on many neighboring streets and can easily be paid using the HONK App. When using the HONK app, ensure that you use the PROMO CODE: CORE to enjoy 2 hours of free parking.
